アメリカの超有名なポルノ映画を２００３年にオフ・ブロードウエイでミュージカル化。
もちろん日本初演
ニューヨークで大絶賛され、世界各国で上演されているオフブロードウェイミュージカルの日本初上演！
（ストーリー）ダラスカウボーイズのチアリーダーになることを夢見るデビーは高校のチアキャプテン。念願かなってダラスカウガールズになることを認められるが、両親に反対されたためダラスまでの旅費を自分で工面しなければならない。そこでチアリーディング部の友達4人がデビーのために働いて旅費を稼ごうとする。しかし普通の仕事ではなかなかお金が稼げないことに気づいたデビー達はイケナイ事でお金を稼ぐようになっていく？？？
そんな宣伝文句のおかげか、客席の男子占有率が高かったのです(笑）
お金がないので援交して稼いでめでたくダラスへ出発～♪というだけの話。日本だとＶシネマとかでありそうですが、これをミュージカル化し、しかもビジネスとして成り立たせてしまう環境がすごいですね。さすがアメリカ♪
アメリカB級映画の日本語吹替版のような声とセリフ廻しで、いかにも直輸入ミュージカル。きっとオフブロードウェイの雰囲気そのまんまなのでしょう。
チアリーディング部の５人の女の子、キャスティングの勝利というか、よくも濃い５人を集めたものだと思います。特に、タミー役の西野裕子さんの怪演が場内大うけでした。
涙とか、心温まる話とか、深いテーマとか、そんなものは一切ない、素敵なおバカミュージカルでございまいした。
BROADWAY THEATER WORKSHOP、大阪を拠点としているグループだそうで、次回公演も大阪のみとのこと。次回も東京公演あるといいな。
