神楽坂・赤城神社境内
神楽坂の赤城神社の境内での野外公演。
この日は、今回公演、初めての雨で、レインコート着用しての見物となりました。
開演前は小雨でしたが、開演してすぐに雨は止みましたので、お客も出演者もスタッフさんも、きっと行いのよい人ばかりだったんでしょう。
境内の一角を土で敷き詰め、一箇所、身長を超えるような高さで土が盛られています。
舞台を囲むように雛壇の客席が２面。
白いワンピースの女性が現れて、野菜を食べたり、立ったまま力んで野菜を生んだり(笑)
やがて水をまき、泥となった舞台で、泥を擦り付けたり転がったり倒れ込んだり．．．
どんなテーマなのかは、チラシにも一切説明はなかったのですが、死（土にかえる）と再生（土から生まれる）という世界なのかなと思いました。盛土は死骸を埋めた墓のようでもあるし、盛土の上で踊る姿は、生まれた鳥が羽ばたいていくまでの姿のようにも見えました。水をまき、泥と戯れる姿は、種をまき水をまき、やがて芽が出て茎が伸び葉を出して．．．のように感じられました。
神社でかつ、野外だからこそ、そう感じたのかもしれません。屋内の劇場だったら、別の印象を受けたかもしれません。
音楽無しで踊る場面もあり。そのときは参詣客が鳴らす鈴や街のノイズ（神社なので静かですが）がＢＧＭなのですね。
場所のせいか、日頃の忙しない時間の流れから開放され、悠久の時の流れの中に居るような、不思議な１時間でした。
野外だし、遠くから立ち見したら無料でみられるじゃん♪なんて思ったですが、終演後、座席の後ろに回ったら、しっかり
「立見お断り！」
と張り紙がありました(笑）
蛇足
童心に返って泥んこ遊びをしてみたくなりました。
