新木場到着が16:30頃。受付開始17:00まで近辺散策。
ネコさんいっぱい。近づいても逃げないので写真撮り放題♪
17:00、ジプシー音楽が流れ、役者さんたちが掛声と手拍子で盛り上げている中を抜け、受付へ向かう。
「幽霊船」開催中は、17:00から開場時間まで第五福竜丸展示館が特別オープン(普段は16:00閉館)、せっかくの機会なので展示館に行く。
入場すると、目の前には第五福竜丸の船尾。現在のマグロ漁船に比べればはるかに小さいですが、間近で見ると迫力あるなあ。
遺留品、当時の新聞記事等の掲示物を見る。広島・長崎からたった十年後で、しかも相手がまた米国というのはどういう因縁なんでしょうね。
開場。最前列通路脇に着座。舞台後方が吹き抜け、雨上がりで風も涼しく気持ちよい。
「中央通路は、かなり大きなものが通りますので、通路際のお客様はお気をつけ下さい」のアナウンスにワクワク(笑）
舞台左右にゴミの山。端席だと、ゴミが邪魔して視界は悪そう（ゴミ越しで観る舞台は、それはそれで風情があるかもしれない）。
書けなくなった作家・ミズホシ。名前を失った男。第五福竜丸に恋する女性・火見子。命を求める(捨てられた)人形。夢の島の幽霊。どんな物にも魂が宿るということなのでしょう。4人の幽霊は、きっと捨てられたモノの幽霊で、夢の島に放置されていて永遠に成仏できない。
火見子が第五福竜丸を燃やそうとする動機、それは彼(第五福竜丸)を火葬にし、さまよえる霊を成仏させてあげようという行為なのでしょうね。
表現形態としては、唐組や新宿梁山泊の世界なのかなと思うのですが、まだまだ若いというか突き抜き度はもうひとつ。
（突き抜け度では、姉妹役の宍倉暁子さん・mikkiy A.K.Aさんの御両名は、さすがベテランの域。怪演でした）
唐組の舞台の結末は、あらゆる束縛から解放された爽快感がありますが、若手のアングラ系芝居（といっていいのかはわからないけれど）は詩的で耽美な方向へ向かっているように感じます。
前者を"生"のイメージとすれば後者は"死"のイメージってところでしょうか？
ラストに登場する第五福竜丸ですが、開演前に見た、実物の第五福竜丸を見てしまった後では、どうしても物足りなく感じられるのが残念(ベランダの物干し台に見えなくもない(笑))。
佐取こずえ嬢、いかにも人形らしい雰囲気が◎。ゴス系の衣装に真っ赤な口紅が印象的。
音楽もバラエティに富み、ちょっと無国籍でよかった。
世界観は好きだし、耽美指向も好き。あとは圧倒的なパワーで、その世界に観客を引きずり込んでくれれば文句は無いのだけれど。（パワーという点では唐組さんはすごいな。世界観の好き嫌いは関係なく引きずり込まれてしまう。）
おまけ
夢の島にやってくる姉妹は、上演台本によると、現代のアンティゴネとエスメネだそうです。
ミズホシというのは、"水星"＝"マーキュリー（ヘルメス）"なのかな？
高校のとき、国語の先生が「日本の近代文学を語る上で、ギリシャ神話は避けて通れない」と言っていた。自分は理系だったので避けて通ったクチなのだけれど、やっぱり読んでおけばよかったぞ＞自分。
