やっぱりかっこよい楽曲なり。
公演スケジュールをみると日本ツアーの初日のようです。
１階席後方１／３はガラガラ、実質自由席状態。２幕以降は、端席や２階席からの移動してきたとおぼしき人多数(笑)。コアなオペラファンは居るものの、メイン客層は地元のみなさんかな。良くも悪くも「八王子～♪」といった雰囲気。
この後、10/7～12までは、音響設備もはるかに良いと思われるBunkamuraオーチャードホールなので、八王子近隣在住でない限り、本公演には来ないような気がします。
特設オーケストラボックスに入りきらないコントラバスとパーカションが、それぞれ舞台袖の下手と上手に居たのにはビックリ。
アリアたっぷりでオペラには満足。でも、もうちょっと混んでたほうが盛り上がるよなあ。
蛇足
「トゥーランドット」というと、どうしても宝塚宙組「鳳凰伝」の印象が強く残っている。氷のような冷酷さと高貴な美しさという点では、花總まりのトゥーランドットにかなうものは、なかなか無いと思う。オペラ見てても、なぜか花總トゥーランドットが頭に浮かんできてしまいました。花ちゃんおそるべし．．．

We should be meticulous and discriminating in all the intelligence we give. We should be especially prudent in giving guidance that we would not think of following ourselves. Most of all, we ought to refrain from giving advise which we don't tag along when it damages those who depreciate us at our word.
