日本と外国、そのコンプレックスが隠しテーマとしてあるのかな。ものすごくゆるやかだけれど、先の噺が後の噺の伏線として見ることもできる。
マキシム・ド・のん兵衛(作：三遊亭白鳥)
原作にほぼ忠実。実際のマキシム・ド・パリが地下にあるという件には触れず(笑)。
パパは黒人
黒人の恋人がいるとウソをついた娘。「その恋人が見たい」という友達の言葉にに引くに引けなくなった娘は、父親に黒人の恋人になってもらうのだが．．．
黒人に対するコンプレックスがネタとなっています。男の夢のひとつ「黒人にストリートファイトで勝つこと」は言いえて妙。今ではなかなかやりずらいネタではあるけれど、黒人だからケンカに強いというのは、黒人だからリズム感が良いとか、関西人だから面白いはずなど、今でも普遍的にある偏見だなあと思います。
戦後史開封
戦争体験を無理やり孫に聞かせようとする祖父の噺。
孫に戦時体験をシミュレーションさせるのだが、B29 VS 零戦のくだりでは、飛行機の身振りが面白かった。
サゲが秀逸。戦争中に兵隊が見た夢だったというもの。兵隊が自分も未来の姿を夢に見ている、それは死を目前にしているからこそだろうし、彼自身の戦死をも予感させるような暗いトーンの終わり方も、昇太氏にしては珍しいような気がします。
ハワイの雪(作：柳家喬太郎)
一連の出来事を爺さんの見た夢だったいうサゲに改変していました。夢落ちかよって一瞬思ったけれど、こちらの夢は戦争を生き残った者が晩年に見た、自分の過去を総括する夢でもあります。戦後史開封のラストと呼応しているかのようで、素敵な夢落ちでした。
しいていえば、サルスベリのしょう吉のキャラが、どうみても年寄に見えなかったけど、キザっぷりがおかしかったのでオケーだと思うです。
